ABSTRACT: Innovations in Evaluating Vocational Education Program Outcomes explores new methodologies and approaches to assess the effectiveness and impact of vocational education programs. This study investigates innovative evaluation tools and metrics that capture holistic learning outcomes and workforce readiness among vocational graduates. The objectives were: to identify key challenges in evaluating vocational education program outcomes, to explore innovative assessment techniques and technologies, and to recommend strategies for enhancing evaluation practices in vocational education. A survey research design was chosen to gather data from vocational educators, employers, and educational researchers, offering insights into current practices and emerging trends in program evaluation. A sample size of 200 respondents was purposively selected to include stakeholders from vocational institutions and industry partners in Kaduna State, Nigeria, recognized for their proactive approach to vocational education research. The case study focused on a collaboration between a vocational school and local industries, highlighting effective evaluation methodologies and their impact on program improvement. Findings indicated that traditional evaluation methods often overlooked essential skills and competencies needed in the workforce, whereas innovative approaches such as competency-based assessments and employer feedback mechanisms provided more accurate insights into program effectiveness. It is recommended that vocational institutions should adopt technology-enabled assessment tools, establish partnerships with industry for real-time feedback, integrate soft skills evaluation into formal assessments, and promote data-driven decision-making to enhance vocational education program outcomes and align with industry demands.
